Wow. I haven’t been able to find the direct source of this image, but apparently BMW Classic restored this BMW 328 and entered it into the Mille Miglia this year – a race won by this model car back in 1940. In 2006 BMW designed a concept car based on the 328. (via baubauhaus)
I’ve uploaded a set of high res Porsche motorsport posters to flickr. They’re originally from Dutch site Autokopen and appear to be long gone.
The set is far from complete and omits many stunning examples that can be found in VPRacing.com’s ’60s and ’70s poster archives. They’re well worth a browse.
